You’ve heard of speed-dating and speed-networking but now Alpha mums have turned to the latest speed solution – speed-find a babysitter!

Stylish Altrincham venue The Shaker Room, which prides itself on being a child-friendly coffee lounge by day and a great place for parents to unwind with a cocktail on a night off, has teamed up with local agency Tiny Happy People to create this exciting new event.

Mums and dads can pop in for a drink and meet some of the babysitters on the agency’s books – all of whom are experienced in childcare and come referenced and

police-checked.

With reduced joining fees on the night, parents can sign up to the babysitting service and give a list of their preferred sitters so when they need to call in a babysitter at short notice, there’s no awkward tension or unease about leaving the little one with a stranger.
